FG BANS SSS1, SSS2 STUDENTS FROM TAKING EXTERNAL WASSCE, NECO, NABTEB

The Federal Government of NIGERIA has banned students in Senior Secondary School one and two from taking from applying for and taking external West African Senior School Certificate Examination, the National Examination Council, and National Business and Technical Examinations Board.

This was contained in a circular issued and signed on Friday by the Federal ministry’s Director of Senior Secondary Education, BINTA ABDULKADIR, to principals of federal unity schools.

The government threatened to expel any SSS One and Two students who take the exams.

This, the education ministry, said would help to maintain decorum and boost standards of education in schools.

The circular also advised all students of Federal Unity Colleges to strictly adhere to the content of the circular and urged Principals to bring the message to the knowledge of all parents.
